I’m Julie, a designer based in Los Angeles with a specialization in woven design and contemporary women’s fashion.

After a six-year tenure at & Other Stories, I embarked on an exciting journey as a consultant with a fashion start-up. I currently work as a Design Director for a full-service design and manufacturing company called Décor Global.

Before taking on this role, I contributed unique concepts to Verishop’s in-house labels: Billie the Label and Lett, establishing a precedent for distinctive designs. I built a strong foundation in fashion on the East Coast, where I designed for brands like Free People and Anthropologie. Additionally, I had an incredible opportunity to move abroad to Saint-Jean-De-Luz, France, designing for Roxy.

I’m inspired by the principles of upcycling fashion and motivated by my son, Romy. I bring a holistic approach to my design philosophy with the understanding that we have the responsibility to combat climate change for future generations.

When I’m not working, you can find me exploring research on drought-tolerant native California plants for my garden or reading the comments section from the New York Times Cooking app.
